Seriously, I kept overthrowing most of my nades... The lack of a reticle in Capture the ASE didn't help things either.

I had no idea you could do melee attacks in ASE football until someone hit me with the ASE and killed me, I was like...WHOA!

Thanks vertigo. I'm not sure who I was playing the ase football with, but sorry I left. I wasn't feeling up to two man capture the flag.

I don't know if it will equal sales but the game seems to have gotten a pretty good reception on most of the boards I read. (VGChartz, IGN (Wii), GAF). Its a bit mixed on Gamefaqs... However, comments sections for the reviews are full of hate. If they review it, expect Giantbomb to give it a bad score. They did a quicklook and Jeff Gerstman and Brad Shoemaker were complaining about input lag (bad controls), ugly environments etc. Of course, they didn't have the bounding box set small enough so of course the turning was slow...

I remember visiting Giantbomb's forums (I think that was the site), and I remember some Wii topics getting heavily trolled by 360/PS3 fanboys. :/

Oh and they also called games like Conduit and Little King's Story shovelware. :C

EDIT: Also guys, I'm done for a the night. Had a great time playing with you people (even though it was really a few matches). I may or may not play more later tonight. (Depends on my mood lol)

This is all I have to say about Jeff Gerstman, and people still at Gamespot.

I swear, this game provides me with the most inconsistant win/loss results of any fps I've ever played. Normally, I do "pretty good" on average in most games, with the occasional ass reaming, but this game I'll like win 4 matches in a row, and then have 4 matches where I can't even get but two or three kills.

I partly blame some of the weapon sets, which I haven't really gotten good with. Beyond that, I just haven't found a solid groove yet in online.

I keep wanting to beat the single player, but it's hard to put the online down. (Though I have really enjoyed the sp game so far.)

This is my first FPS and I love it! I was playing since day one online without knowing how to lock onto people..... haha. I actually am pretty good at free aiming now ;)
