Others and Japan sales are now up, and both HD systems have sold practically the same number of units...about 52K, quite low.

Soon we´ll get NA numbers...I was fairly sure the PS3 would eventually go below 100K again, but I wasn´t expecting the same for the 360, now it seems it´s a very real possibility.

Good possibility, nearly certain for the PS3, which is poor given that last year I think it only went down to below 120k for 1 or 2 weeks

yeah looks like they both will thought that ps3 EU bundle would of done something well the ps3 has infamous and the EU infamous bundle coming out to look forward to bump up sales

If Americas sales are the same as last week:

99.2k for 360 & 85.7 for PS3.

Is the economic crisis this bad!

 I think the economic conditions are part of the problem, but definitely not all of it.  Unlike last spring there have been no high profile game releases to sell systems (GTA 4, SSBB, MK Wii, MGS 4).  Another problem is that there is no shortage of systems for any of the big three.  So the impulse buy of seeing a system on the shelf is gone.  Finally we are getting into the middle of the generation so sales were bound to start slowing down.  Things will pick back up during the holidays.
