Lately Sony is dropping in their sales, but it seems like MS is dropping with them. Ok there are no big releases unlike last year when we had GTA4, but it would have been nice if MS could have continued the sales frenzy of the first months when it posted 30% growth.
In my opinion it needs something to do that, either a new casual thing launched at e3 and then directly in stores or games. Until Halo ODST nothing really big comes out so the coming months are more or less lost months. They could should do at least 150k-200k a week, but instead its dropping to 100k and I dont see it coming back to that level until september.
Why are there no big summer games, there are always big summer movie blockbusters, kids have lots of time off, more then with the holidays. Seems to me like a good time for big or semi-big releases who would not have been noticed during the holidays (like mirrors edge or prince of persia or dead space).
Although Sony is in the same position, they have more great games t ol ook forward to
So is there any hope for MS during the summer?
