I'd rather fewer games with worse graphics and better gameplay.

so quantity over quality is what your asking, i prefer to wait for quality.
Graphics never made a good game... quite the opposite...
Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.

This is a good point.
If I had lots of money, then more games for sure, as I would have more choice.... As I don't, I am limited to buying the cream of the crop anyway, so I may as well as for those few to look better, at least as long as the rest of the game development doesn't take a hit

I would go broke if more games came out. I wouldn't care though if they were actually good.
If they replace it with good style (and that's not necessarily, or even preferably, cel-shading), I don't mind. I like good graphics but as long as the graphics don't get bad, I could easily prefer gameplay over graphics.
Though more games with bad graphics could actually be worse than less games with good graphics... But I suppose we'd get more good games as well.
Some games really benefit from looking pretty (Bioshock)
As long as the graphics are OK I don't mind, doesn't matter much to me. I can certainly live without Crysis clone graphics .. certainly shouldn't affect scores on reviews but thats a different story ...
I'm torn on this issue.
On the one hand, I don't have the time and money to play all the good games that are already out there.
On the other hand, more games should also mean more variety. That would probably mean a return to seeing more crazy ideas in video games.

There are already too many games out there. Whenever a friend has the same game it's a pretty fucking awesome coincidence... And if he has the same level of (un)expertise it's a fucking miracle.
So forget the graphics. Just give me the less games part ^_^
God i hate fanboys, almost as much as they hate facts

Well personally graphics mean little to me, especially since my favourite genre is RPG, therefore ill take good quality games, with good stories over pretty graphics any day.
