Forums - Gaming - From Software stepping up to the plate?

Is it just me, or has this gaming dev team been on a role as of late?

Ninja Blade for the 360, Demons Souls for the PS3.

A buncha Armored Core games for PSP.

Armored Core 4 & Armored Core: FA (5) are also really good games in the franchise of the mechs.

And honestly i thought Enchanted Arms was an "Okay" atempt at a first time JRPG from FROM SOFTWARE, and i enjoyed it more then Eternal Sonata thats for sure.

All in all, Do any of you think FROM SOFTWARE has what it takes to hang with the big boys one day? if they have'nt already?

Damn! 6?! It's official there one of my fave devs this gen. :P

Come to think about it, this probably confirms new PSP model as well, otherwise it would be too many Tenchu and Armoured Core games in the space of 12 months...

Demon's Souls is awesome.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

Demon's Souls is the best dungeon crawler I've played since diablo, though it's more reminiscent of even older WRPG... ones I can't even remember the names of because people don't talk about them much any more :)

It scares you and puts you on your toes by punishing you for dying, but never punishes you too much. It has traps AND single non-boss monsters that will make you sweat when you're first exploring a level, and the level design itself is very satisfying. And I'm having a blast with the multiplayer, co-op and pvp.

Tried the demo of Ninja Blade and thought it was pretty fun too, though I've got enough action games I have to finish to pick that one up right now. Some of the monsters seemed very Demon's Souls-y, and it was cool how they were transposed to a big modern city.
