This is old news, they announced last year that they weren;t starting the xbox version until the ps3 version was done

So they should release the PS3 version now and release the 360 version later when they finish it.

The PS3 doesnt have a large enough user base to justify a solo release of the game. Sony users dont like to buy games as much as Xbox 360 users so it makes sence to have a simultaneous launch

How is that.  Look at games like Street Fighter 4 and Resident Evil 5.  The PS3 versions sold more than the 360 versions so PS3 owners do buy games.  FF13 PS3 version will sell more than the 360 version too.

Releasing it on ps3 way before xbox will have a huge impact on xbox 360 sales as alot of people would have played the ps3 version and just pass over xbox

So!  The game was on PS3 first and it will get more sales on the PS3 any way even if both version are release at the same time.  Other games have impact the PS3 sales also.

I guess that's why Bioshock had a solo release as well as Eternal Sonata....OH WAIT, the 360 userbase was UNDER 22M when those games released...but I guess 22M was enough then, and not now. /sarcasm

And it shouldn't matter if they release the game WHEN IT'S DONE, if the 360 version will come out eventually. It doesn't make sense to have a simultaneous launch on a game that #1 was promoted for years as a PS3 exclusive and #2 will be done on the PS3 version far before the 360 version is done.

If we should use your logic, SE should have waited to release the Last Remnant until the PS3 version gets done

@ BMaker11

Completely agree ... thats the point.

Who cares, Sony has done a worse thing by delaying the completed versions of Ghostbusters for 360 & Wii. The games may not have the same impact, however it's still a cunty thing to do.

Never argue with idiots
They bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience

This is my 4th year of waiting for this game...

the good thing i am already got rid of windows from my desktop!

Nintendo should do this. They could delay the game to put it on wii

The market will be saturated by the time it would come out by the xbox 360.  People that want to play it bad enough would have already played the game before the 360 release.  Who wants to buy a game that was on ps3 released a year before hand.  Bioshock and lost plant are perfect examples of this

I'm just saying TLR

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi
