As for your all caps statement, there are already two Call of Duty games for the Wii.

As for your argument about disc size, the Wii and 360 use the same size discs, so your argument makes no sense.

Like Maxwell stated, ban bets are no longer allowed.   Though if they were, I'd make it permanent.

 

But like I said, I have an unfair advantage and wouldn't be guessing so I wouldn't take the bet even if they were allowed.

@OP If it does come, I will not be buying it unless it is just as good or better than the other versions. I would most likely get the PC version.

Yes you're right. The Wii and Xbox 360 have the exact same size disc. I heard that Infinity Ward is actually building the game from the ground up for the Wii. Meaning it would probably look better than The Conduit. IW is fantastic with pushing tech. I don't know but lot's of devs who make first person shooters for the other consoles are mosying on over to the Wii now. Even Bethesda is moving on over.

In size yes, but the Wii doesn't uses propreitary discs,though it still can play DVDs. This is to avoid fees that Nintendo would have had to pay. I also believe, but I'm not certain that the Wii discs also have less latency.

Two things:

1) All consoles out now are current-gen, not next-gen. There never has been a next-gen console. That's impossible.

2) The wii is current gen, even if it isn't HD. Any generations are named on one thing only: Time. The wii launched mid-generation, so is current gen.

Well it would be dumbed down greatly with probably a good handfull of missing features. Should I mention that Modern warfare 2 will be pushing the HD Conoles quite a bit. They could do it but would it really be worth it to dumb the game down so much when many Wii owners also have an HD Console. Unless they go the Dead Space route and do some spin off or prequel than I doubt it. So? They did the same thing with World @ War, sold a million copies and counting, and made massive profit.

A few of us here either working for studios or as part of the media have already stated the game is coming.

Yeah that may be true but I wish i could the proof. Sunday we will see. Hopefully Bardicverse comes here to clarify MW2 coming to the Wii, because he's a pretty good source.

As for Modern Warfare, I really don't care to much, as I don't play a lot of FPS games, but I do hope they put good effort into a Wii title, as so many games lack real effort.




If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy
