Well I don't care, ppl still watch good old basketball. What can I say I was born in and raised in Springfield Massachusetts. Home of the sport of Basketball.

Currently enjoying: Monster Hunter Tri.

Around the Network

Soccer

TV ratings and average game attendance in the above order. For college level, baseball and basketball switch places.

This is true in the USA only.

Of course but it's the territory that is relevant to the topic (well, off topic topic that is).    Globally soccer (futbol) would move from bottom to top.

Why are we talking about sports?

We should really get back on topic lol.

Hey look, I finally found something to disagree with you on.

Baseball is a dying sport in the US. Football reigns supreme, Hockey is working its way up the ranks, Basketball is kinda still there. Id say that Basketball and Hockey are the sports that cancel each other out due to racial demographic of fanbase.

Yes I actually consider basketball America's pasttim. I think more people watch and go to basketball games than baseball.

Back on topic here. So Bardicverse, is it coming or not? It's not on the MW2 website.

See, I agree - basketball is america's favorite pasttime, not spectator sport. Its easy to go and play a game of 1-on-1 basketball, where its much harder to set up a team for football, baseball, etc. However, WATCHING basketball is like watching tennis to me.

As far as MW2, Im not the be all end all resource for game releases, Im a dev that hears things from time to time. Theres nothing new under the sun as of right now. We'll know more by E3. Im more excited that our FPS is now running levels. Lots of tweaking (slow framerates right now) to be done yet. Once we have some cool in game shots, I'll update in an original post.

I want it, but I don't want a half-assed one so if they don't want to do it then I'd rather not see it come, however if they make a good FPS for the Wii with local multiplayer and good graphics (for the Wii) then I will buy it.

Currently dreaming of: DKC4 or Sonic the Hedgehog 4 (classic 2D platformers) for WiiWare, Smash Bros. for DSi, New Super Mario World for DSi, a Wii remake or true sequel of Final Fantasy Tactics.

One down, hopefully more awesomeness to come.

People are still assuming that it isn't coming out on Wii due to sites not listing a Wii version yet. The chances are getting a little slimmer but there is still a chance.

Despite no Wii iteration on display during the MW2 unveiling recently, IGN still maintains the MW2 page for Wii.   You'd think if a Wii iteration were blatanlty not coming then they'd remove the page.  Why bother to keep it up unless it's still possible.
