Impressive numbers for new ip's(IU and last remnant),Star ocean the last hope selling not to shabby I can honestly see SO4 overtaking blue dragon in sales. Still need TLR,IT and SO4.:(

^ note to self: 450k for a new IP on the 360 is impressive but 2.19 million on the ps3 is a failure.

They are ok sales.. how u think they r impressive.? over taking blue dragon is no achievement for SO4.
News - Square Enix has revealed their financial earnings for the fiscal year ending March 31 2009. Unsurprisingly net income was down by 31% from 9,196 Million Yen in the previous year to 6,333 Million Yen. This was to be expected. Other enlightening figures are the amount of profit, and sales the company receives from it's home territory alone. The company made 133,381 Million Yen (gross total) in Japan in the fiscal year ending March 2008, and 121,590 Million Yen (gross total) this fiscal year. The rest of the world accounted for approximately 20,000 Million Yen in both years. Interesting figures, which should explain why everyone expects Final Fantasy 13 to do better on the PS3 when it is released exclusively in Japan later this year (hopefully). @ source
the wii titles your looking for is crystal bearers and the 360 title your looking for is front mission
nintendo fanboy, but the good kind
proud soldier of nintopia
Hmm okay thanks for correcting me, so who knows, maybe most if not all of the extra 90k shipped is indeed the PC game
egghead - i believe all are actually. retailers had to cut the price right after the game came out to move their inventory. Youll have a hard time finding a store that will order more and restock it when they lost money on the sales.
It cant have been that bad, while IU was a failure that dropped in price heavily within few weeks of release, TLR has been going at reasonable prices. Also the fact that they could ship similar numbers (without including Japan) also shows the demand wasnt as bad as IUs
^ they shipped about the same of IU and retailers still werent making money on the sales. they wont want to keep a game like that on shelves
