Jam is, jimmay is just a mindless fanboy who can't understand the stupidity behind 17 games on the ps3 selling over 500,000 and only 6 on the wii.

I just don't think he is willing to consider the reality of the situation ...

Over the next 3 months the Wii will likely sell an additional 6 Million systems, each of those with at least 2 games sold on agerage (probably closer to 3), and the existing 12 Million Wii owners will buy at least 1 game on average (probably closer to 2); what this means is that there is probably going to be 24 to 42 Million games sold on the Wii.

Over the next 3 months the PS3 will likely sell an additional 2.5 Million system, each of those with at least 2 games sold on agerage (probably closer to 3), and the existing 4.5 Million PS3 owners will buy at least 1 game on average (probably closer to 2); what this means is that there is probably going to be between 9.5 and 14 Million PS3 games sold.

In order for the PS3 to have more games past the 500,000 mark pretty much every game would have to hit 500,000 and stop selling so that other games could sell to that level, while at the same time Nintendo's sales would have to be entirely focused on a hadful of titles.

I don't know about 500K copies sold... But how about, say, 6M copies sold? Let's count everything on the system through the end of 2007.

Now, when you get into 1-3M sellers, you'll see the 360 and Wii lists become similar in size. With even stuff like Lair, Warhawk and Heavenly Sword looking iffy for 1M WW, the PS3's list will be very short in comparison.

But only 8 500K sellers for the rest of the year on Wii? That's absurd.

That is the most stupid fanboy logic i have ever heard. Take a rest and wait for the results to come in, before you say anything else stupid.

Yeah well done you got it atleast part right, the wii has a handfull of games that will sell millions each and that's been nintendos problem all along only nintendo first party and a very small handful of 3rd party games sell well and the rest suffer. Both the ps3 and 360 will have more games sell over 500,000 each.

My point is both the 360 and ps3 will have more 500k sellers than the wii during sep-dec 2007, 8 500k sellers on the wii is just a rough guess for the wii.
