Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Rumor: Miyamoto has something big in store

@11ht11

No offense intended, but was this really worth posting. This is so vague as to be worthless, and more to the point it is the kind of common sense we all enjoy. He is working on something new? Wow no shit doesn't he do that every year. Hey it is out in left field. No shit he has done that every year.

These vague statements need to be ignored. They provide no insight, and they are only clever in retrospect. Which is usually after you have long forgotten about them in the first place. Besides Nintendo having a new mascot character was old news last year.

That is a creepy, creepy picture.

HYPE

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

i can't believe it, only 2 weeks to go till MEGATON

Maybe Marionette (the puppet game he was working on years ago) is finally ready. The wiimote would certainly work well as a control system for a puppet.

That sounds like a rumor of a rumor. I love the pic though.

In the wilderness we go alone with our new knowledge and strength.

It'll be another Wii series game, Wii sleep, the game where proper sleeping habits net you higher scores and unlockables, it'll come with its own Wii bed peripheral

HAHAHA
