The media just can't seem to grasp the concept of the PS3. Sony has truly delivered a great piece of hardware. Unlike other console manufacturers, they thought about the future with the inclusion of the Cell processor and Blu-ray disk drive, and this will insure a 10 year lifecycle.

Not to mention the combination of the Cell and RSX can produce truly breathtaking visuals that just aren't possible on other platforms. This is painfully obvious when you take a look at the 1st party titles that Sony has put together like Killzone 2, Uncharted 2, inFamous and Heavy Rain. There really is no comparison; they truly are the apex of gaming excellence.

One can only hope that the gaming community can show the PS3 more love through both console and software purchases, so Sony can continue to deliver these award winning games.

They are firing people at the moment... people that I know....

Being a PS3 owner I don't think I could comfortably replace it with any other current gen console , expensive but well worth the money I spent on it.


The graphics on the exclusives and the actual console itself are still aestheticly impressive.

The PS3 isn't underrated... it's over-hated.

The problem is the Economy is taking its toll on people's budgets and that is why people are switching to cheaper alternatives in this case the 360.
