Obviously a lot more visitors will come to the site, but a while back when the site hit its high score (10,917) we didn't get any noticeable new members. Not mass of them anyway.

So last E3 did we get loads of cool new members? I can't remember that far back! Hopefully VG.20 will get some new members as well.

I'm sure June will be a pretty big month for the site. I think we'll get quite a few new members, partly because of E3 and partly because of 2.0.

Let's just hope the community stays at the level it is now, and doesn't drop. Because I absolutely love the VGChartz community :)

Well, VGChartz is getting mentioned more and more often on other gaming sites and rightfully so.

I expect lots of new members and guests after E3.

The site will remain a joke until ioi adopts the Neogaf rule which is that you can only become a member with a e-mail which is not free. Everyone at Gaf value their accounts because they know once they are banned they are gone.........no coming back. Here some people have 20 accounts with every simple one being "LULZ _____ console is shit."

People whom are casual will not know about E3 so no VGChartz will not see an influx of members.......unless it is to say "LMAO I don't need a PS3 anymorez MGS4 on 360 biaches."

Mods this is just my opinion so no need to start banning me for calling this site a joke, compared to Gaf it is but it is still a great site for conversation. Hey at least the mods here are not fucked up like Gaf where you just get banned when they do not like you.....hmm them again being banned because a mod cannot detect sarcasm on this site is also pretty sad.

Although I see where you're coming from , that will certainly kill about 90% of this websites traffic in the short term at least.

Yeah that is obviously the reason for ioi allowing free e-mail accounts, Gaf is extremely popular and I'm sure 'Evilore' has more than enough traffic on his website. Then again his website has site has become very popular due to the members and the rules adopted so eh it's a juggling act.

Yeah but then you have to consider the type of user that uses Vgchartz vs the Neogaf user . From what i've seen at the "Gaf" they tend to have a more industry insider thing going on , with exclusive announcements every now and then . At Vgchartz it's more like a youtube kinda thing going on with some people giving useful contributions but a disturbing amount just posting garbage.

I don't think Vgchartz get the Neogaf demographic without being like Neogaf first , that would be like the Ice Cream van that usualy get's it's businesses from Primary schools parking in front of a posh resturaunt.

so what you ment to say was some people think this site is a joke because of free e-mail accounts there are a lot of people here think neo-gaf is not for them either.

E3 will get more people to come to the site than usual, like every other news explosion.

VGC 2.0 will convince more of the newcomers to create accounts than usual.

I couldn't predict a number for you though.
