uh i use my ps3 constantly for years now, and the only damage i have to my controllers is that a dog chewed up one of my sicks, however the only ripped the padding off so it's still useable.

I don't know about you, but my pre-dualshock and dualshock controllers from 1997, Dualshock 2 from 2002, Sixaxis's from 2007 and Dualshock 3 from 2008 all still function flawlessly. Maybe your general PS3 hate hurt their feelings and they decided to implode on you

I have 4 dualshock 2s and they are all largely fine. The DS3s/Sixaxis controllers are the only ones that've given me problems, especially considering how little I've used them compared to all my ps2 controllers. He's definately not alone here, as I've experienced this very annoying problem first hand.

At least your L1,R1 didnt get stuck in,hated that when i was playing R2...

mines are working perfect and i think that you post this thread just to show your hate against ps3.ok we agree with your blames on sony go and sell ypur ps3 and play 360 thats the solution for you.

What the hell do you do to your controllers?

If you treat them properly they won't break at all. My controller from March 2007 is still going strong.

Wow i have had 2 ps3 controllers since 2007 and neither of them are messed up at all. And i've even thrown one once when i got pissed off at a game and it never broke? You must got strong fingers or some shit lol

It must be my strength :P. I bought one back in February, and now it's loose. The 360's triggers are still strong.

Triggers work just fine but I have seriously damaged left stick in sixaxis - for some reason it doesn't return to the center point  anymore lol. I bought DS3 some time ago so who cares hehe...
