Forums - Microsoft - I'm thinking about selling my 360

I have a sneaky suspiscion this thread is flamebait.

OT if you don't play it I guess sell it. Personally I never sell anything game related used due to you getting no where near your money back but if you really do have a 360 and don't use it and really need cash get rid of it.

You should hold on to your 360 because there will likely be a third Gears game on it. Otherwise, you should sell it if you're not happy with it anymore.

Meh. That's too far away.

And what would a new Gears offer that the first 2 didnt? The reason I am thinking of selling it NOW is because I want to sell it before a PRICE DROP, which would bring the value of a used 360 down a lot as well.

Also the upcoming exclusives for 360 do not interest me much at all. How much should I be asking for, if I sell it with all the games I listed?

If you sell everything with the 360.. maybe you can somewhere around $300-$400.  Guessing here.

Also, invest in a gaming PC.  You can play Gears 3 on that. :P

I highly doubt you will get that.

At OP:

If you seriously don't play the console and dont feel you will play it substantially ever again, sell it.

But to be completely honest, I think this is a troll post designed to further your argument as too why the PS3 is supposedely better than Microsoft's machine.  From the games you listed it seems you have gotten an enormous amount of playtime from the console, and you havent even started to look at the Xbox 360's AWESOME (and now cheap) line-up of RPG's.

By any objective standard, the Xbox 360 has a better library than the PS3, and it will get all the games the Ps3 gets, plus a bunch of exclusives Microsoft will make/pay for.  The PS3 is unlikely to do much to surprise you ever though.  Sony doesn't have the money to pay for exclusives anymore, meaning everything you will see is the first party stuff we all know about.

Totally agree, this is just a fway for him to start another "ps3 is better than water" crap,

I'm selling my ps3 soon, does this mean I should make a flame post about it and slag it off to the ground like infamous8 did? hmmmm.......

ODST will not come close to outselling GoW3, Uncharted 2, and inFAMOUS.

inFAMOUS - 2 million+ (if LBP can sell over 2million on Ps3, I'm sure inFAMOUS will too)
Uncharted 2 - 3-4 million (will be better than the first one)
GoW3 - 3.5-4.5 million

ODST - 4.5-5.5 million

but again...sales dont really mean anything when I'm in my living room playing games.

UNDERHYPED PS3 EXCLUSIVE WILL NOT SELL 2 MILLION, MAYBE IF AMERICA WAS FILLED WITH COMMIES IT MIGHT.

Do the same thing am doing since I bought my 360 a month ago, put it in his box so it won't collect dust ;)

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

I only got gears 2 on my X360... and I really have no intrest on any games coming up. But ill wait for E3 and if nothing hits my mind ill sell it.

Ok, I'll bite. How about you stop clamouring for attention on here you immature little PS3 fanboy who I have no doubt doesn't even own a 360.

I sold my 360 about the time I got my ps3. I don't regret it...but having said that I wouldn't mind playing some of the 360 exclusives if I still had the console. But given the choice of extra money (from the sale of my 360) or a few more games I could play but less money...I'd always go with the former (i.e. sell the console and get some extra $).

Plus, if I ever wanted to get a 360, it's alot cheaper now than when I originally purchased it. So overall I'm happy with my decision. If I was really into gaming I would probably just shell out the extra money now just to play the few extra games it offers but I'm not that into gaming anymore.

Yeah i'm goina really doubt that you really do own a 360.
I think you say you do in hopes of not appearing to be a fanboy...too late for that >_>

i never sold my consoles.
