Forums - Nintendo - IGN reviews Punch-Out Wii - 8.8

Great Punch Out is easily my most wanted game at the moment, good to see that even the "hardcore" media appreciate its greatness, i just hope it will get amazing sales (good sales are guaranteed). Day 1 for me !

8.8 is a great score, and I was buying it anyways, so I really don't care

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy
In the past we played games. In the future we watch games. - Forest-Spirit

Four reviews and the lowest score so far is an 85, good sign. I often find the lowest scores for a game more informative the the highest.

I don't know how they come up with 8.8, I mean you read the review and it is nothing but praise, the complaints they write about are not that mayor.

"¿Por qué justo a mí tenía que tocarme ser yo?"

I would say this is a screw you to all the doubters but I don't think there were any doubters for this awesome of a game...

8.5-9.0 range is what i expected this game to come out to.

It seems like there are a lot of good games for the Wii, but none of them have really pushed the bar high enough to become 9.0 games.

The highest rated exclusive game ever made is Super Mario Galaxy.
