Strangely enough, this is the exact score I expected from them.

Isn't it possible that 8.8 is a really good score and they thought that was the score the game deserved? I mean, what do you call the 9.7 score for Super Mario Galaxy or the 9.0 score for Madworld? I'm sorry, but what you just said was really dumb.
How dare you tell me what to do OP, how very dare you. Good score for inFamous but I fell IGN jumped the bandwagon for that game. Pokemon Platinum also got a good review and I really hate that show Britains Got Talent.
The deserving games get high scores most of the time so yeah, the hate when IGN does not give a Wii game a 9+ is silly. Pretty sure they gave SMG a high score and by that a tremendous one.
