Better combat = good!

Darker story = ehhhhhhhh...

When I played ME, I was thinking about how the gameplay and inventory management were the only bad parts of the game, not about how it had too much colour and not enough angst. I guess we'll see what they do with that story.

I agree with you. But I thought the first game had it's fair share of dark moments. Hell, I shotgunned Rex just so he wouldn't "compromise" the mission. lol That's effed up.

You shotgunned Rex? You should've increased your verbal experience, so he would join you to battle against his people.

The story wasn't really that dark in the last game. It was more about species survival. I welcome dark storylines!

I didn't have to, I was just being a dick. lol What's really funny is that I made my character look like a photo copy of my father, so being a dick just came natural. I actually messed up his cheek bones a little. I tried multiple times but what looks right on the screen when making your character looks really really wrong when you start playing. The first time I made a character and he was walking down the deck and then I finally see his face when he enters the cockpit and his cheek bones were poking out farther then his face, and I was like, "how the hell could I not tell that when making my character?!"

Can not wait for Mass Effect 2. One of those games I can play for hours on end without taking a break

If the J man was a game he would be Mass Effect 2.

Guaranteed 96-98 average on metacritics if they fix the technical problems that plagued the first game (which they will of course)

N64 is the ONLY console of the fifth generation!!!

My god...

This game is going to be incredible.

that gave me chills a little bit.
Fallout 3 has passed Mass Effect as my fav RPG so far this gen, but
with Mass Effect 2, the torch may be passed back.

I hate that I have to wait for an '10 release on this one.
