Forums - Nintendo - Systems that should be on the VC...

Saturn - Why the hell isn't it on there?  I heard someone state that it had a weird chipset which might make it hard to emulate.  Neo-Geo had an unusual chipset perhaps not as weird as Saturn.  Also, if it is able to emulate N64 then Saturn should be possible.  Tons of classic games on Saturn and the Japanese would eat the VC games up also.

3DO - Wouldn't mind seeing 3DO on VC considering it was too damn expensive when I was young for me or any of my friends to own one.  I think I knew one person back in the day that had one but he was a little too dorky for me to be associated with.  I still talked to him a lot on the bus about video games though.

Atari 2600 - Okay, why hasn't Atari let them use Atari 2600 games yet?  I suppose Namco bought Atari out in Europe not sure what the case is for them elsewhere.  Tons of classic Atari games and it should be on there considering the C64 is now on VC.

Atari Jaguar - Probably not a good choice considering there were only 3-5 really good games.  Tempest 2000 is the best one I can think of.

CD-i - pfffffftttttttt.... Yea right......  I'd rather buy a CD-i to throw it off a high rise building and watch it smash.

Sega CD / 32X - Not many good games on both these add-ons.  I enjoyed Tomcat Alley on the Sega CD back in the day a lot though.  Probably not a good choice.

N64DD - No need for this add on either.  They did release the first Animal Crossing game for it but probably not worth putting any games from this add-on on the VC.  Not sure if there even too many decent games since only released in Japan.  Couldn't you make new F-Zero X tracks with this add-on?  That would have been pretty cool thing to do and I would have bought this back in the day just for that.

Virtual Boy - Sorry even though I wish I owned this system now adays just to rub it in to people's faces.  There was only about 3-5 good games on it.  I did enjoy playing Mario Tennis on it at the stores.

Dreamcast - (thanks Solid for reminding me) I am not too sure the Wii can emulate DC games though.  If it could that would be very nice.

Probably a few other systems I left out not too sure feel free to mention them.  I can't imagine they would be that good if I can't think of them right now.

Anyone care to type their input? I have to go out of town for weekend to visit a friend but I hope more then 1 or 2 people reply.

theres only 22 Virtual Boy games released and 14 made it to North America(i have 10 out of 14) i dont think that would be a good idea to add it to the vc

N64DD only 9 games

3do the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in May 2003. the company's game brands and other intellectual properties were sold to rivals like Microsoft, Namco, Crave, and Ubisoft, and also to founder Trip Hawkins who paid $405,000 for rights to some older brands and the company's "Internet patent portfolio". never going to happen

Intellivision
Nintendo Color TV Game
Atari 5200
ColecoVision
Sega SG-1000

Atari 7800
Super Cassette Vision

Sega 32X
sega cd

Amiga CD32

Saturn... dunno about that one. You can't save most games on the Wii, dood.

Xen, what do you mean save most games? Like store them on Wii? Doesn't matter now with the SD Card Channel.

Yeah, but did the 3DO company themselves made any games?

On-topic: This is what I would like to see on either the Wii VC or the next Ninty system's VC:

Sega Saturn-If there's not gonna be much fighting games on the Saturn that'll be released on the VC, I'm considering it for naught

Atari Jaguar-I wanna play Tempest 2000, AVP, & Iron Soldier gawd dawamnit!

Sega CD-If we don't get the Lunar games on the VC, I might also be considering the VC support for naught

Sega 32X-No comment

Neo Geo Pocket-It'll probably come to a handheld VC instead if there's one

Wonderswan & Wonderswan Color-No comment either

Ah, the Virtual Boy. Back in Grade 3 there was some rich kid everyone hated that got a Virtual Boy when it launched for like $300. He kept going on about how great it was. Heh.

I'd like Sonic CD and Knuckles Chaotix on the VC. I doubt that's going to happen, so I'll probably end up picking up Sonic Gems (for Sonic CD) to get my fix of old school Sonic.

The thing about the Sega CD and 32x, is Sonic CD is almost the only game worth it from the SCD, and Knuckles Chaotix IS the only game worth it from the 32x.

What a bunch of crap those were. CD'S ARE THE FUTURE! NO! CARTRIDGES ARE! NO! ALL THAT IS WORTHLESS! BEHOLD, THE SEGA SATURN!

2600 is probably the best one.. the other systems didn't really have any good games.

I'd like to see Game Boy/GBA games on Wii's virtual console.. I'm sure they can do that.

Atari 8bit computers. MULE man... MULE!
Amiga would be another one.

Also, what about Gameboy games? Or Game Gear games? Do stuff for the DSi like that.

Yea, only reason why I still have my GCN hooked up is because of the GBA player add-on I have for it.  So I am covered there but most people probably don't have that add-on or the GCN anymore.
