My crazy prediction:
Last years Nintendo E3 performance > this years Nintendo E3 performance

Breaking news the following day - A Nintendo fan who dressed like one of his favorite game characters, Link from the game Zelda, has been arrested following a scene of mass murder where he stabbed Nintendo employees and other public visitors at the first day for the Electronics expo E3 in SF. Witnesses described the horror of seeing a grown 35 year old man, dressed as an elf, with a plastic sword as he chased down and attacked guests of the conference.

"The hard plastic sword managed to cause puncture wounds, we had never seen this before" said one policeman. According to sources he was yelling the words wii motion plus and zelda as he ran around the convention centre.  The incident has highlighted the dangerous nature of cosplay videogame fans and the potential terrorist threat they could pose at these events.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.
