Let me try to wrap my mind around this. You are daring me to spend another hour of my time compiling data. Exactly why would I particularly even care about your dare which is a pretty shallow attempt at manipulation for personal gain. I do not respect you as a poster or a person. In fact I would probably crack a smile if I found out that you had died.

Further more what the hell do three consoles from a previous generation have to do with this generation. You must be in a drug induced haze to be making this incredible leap. Focus on the here and now. You also need to look into this paranoid belief that the reviewers are out to get you.

The best translation of your thoughts goes like this. You think last generations numbers mean something, but your either too lazy or too incompetent to do the work yourself. Therefore you think I am stupid enough to do the work for you. Well Sorry perhaps if ban bets were still allowed I might consider it, because well you would be an hour away from being banned. The numbers not being actually required to prove anything. All I would need to do was post the numbers, and you could go sit in a corner for a couple weeks.

This. Guess how many times out of ten the single console owner is a wii owner? It seems to bee wii only thing to whine about reviewers.

For what it's worth I have a 360 too, and I play the most on PC these days.

Well, I don't whine about anything, but I find game reviewers a very poor subspecies of critics and writers, generally speaking.

And yes, that includes very poor reviews of the simpler or family oriented games. They are not for me or for them, but that doesn't mean they have to be judged with the wrong tools and criteria, that's only unprofessional on the part of the reviewer.

PC/PS3/Wii gamer here, btw, in decreasing order of usage.

@Esa-Petteri, I'm a DS/Wii/PC owner, but I play as much as I can out of everything else at friends' houses, and I plan on picking up some more consoles when I have some money. But then I'll still be whining about reviewers. Everybody should be. If you think GTA4 has Oscar-worthy dialogue, then you shouldn't be reviewing games. If you think GTA4 doesn't have Oscar-worthy dialogue, then you shouldn't be using review scores as the ultimate authority on game quality.

This pretty much sums up my thoughts on this thread.

I fully believe some reveiwers are bribed and pretty much consider aggregate review scores as a useless tool for the individual. But do you honestly believe that someone would actually bribe a reviewer to score a game lower than what it should be?

You sure seem to have some serious gripe with Sony fans. I've counted only two Sony fans before you had posted, who had pointed out a concern with including a year old port. Hell, one of them even complimented on the quality of the thread (although I strongly disagree). I'm sure you'd agree that year old ports don't sell very well?

If anything, it was mostly Nintendo fans whining... and with good reason, might I add. This thread is ridiculous and is based on an assumption of aggregate reviews accurately measuring quality.
