Your arguments are entirely without merit. I have always wanted to say that. What you have failed to do is proper fact checking. Both compilers are 97% in agreement as to the lists. They only differ on one game out of thirty. Which would be the last title listed for the Wii. A mere two hundred thousand unit difference. Which is not enough to alter the rounded numbers I provided. So basically you have no point.

Why did I use one site and not the other? Well the site I used was slightly less cluttered so it made page flipping faster. I was just saving myself a few minutes of squinting. Honestly I have never understood the debate between the sites anyway. They both have their pros and cons. Though in this case it is double the verification.

I'm glad you got that out in the open.  I always thought your arguments always border on trolling.

By taking the top rated games per console, it removes (some of) the argument over bias against/for a console. It does mean that some high quality games may not make the cut, however.

That being said, the 10 top-rated games account for between one-sixth and one-fifth of their total software sales for the Xbox 360 and PS3. But they only account for one-ninth of the total software sales of the Wii.

This difference is probably the result of a different kind of bias -- bias about types of games. Reviewers do not like games -- as much -- that have a more casual appeal. Thus, many of the Wii's top sellers -- Sports, Play, Fit, Mario Kart -- do not make it into a list of "high quality games" (and only in the case of Wii Play is it truly justified). Those four games have sold an amazing 102.46M copies -- or roughly one-third of the software on the system (Even if you discount Wii Sports, it is estimated to be about 22M unbundled because of the attach rate in Japan where it is not sold with the system. Thus, the software number is probably closer to 80M -- which is still over 27%).

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.

I don't think he was talking about Metacritic vs Gamerankings.  I think he was saying that game reviews are biased towards gamers games.

That's more or less what I'm talking about.  Gamer's games, Inside games, etc. always seem to get higher scores then games that aren't necessarily made with traditional gamers in mind.

EDIT: My above post goes into more but I'll go into that on a later date.

Let me quote famousringo's sig:

"The worst part about these reviews is they are [subjective]--and their scores often depend on how drunk you got the media at a Street Fighter event."

Does Gamerankings know quality?

Anyone who gave Mario Kart Wii less than 9 deserves to be shot or beaten at the very least.

Why you people are so offended when bad games sell well on your favourite system? Does it hurt you in some weird way?

By NDF, do you mean "Nintendo Defense Force" or something?

Ok, I will but let me ask you this.. Why do people get upset when their favorite system isn't selling as well as another system that they perceive to be inferior?

Ok that was a bit dodgy..
