You know what seems to elude me? How people who are homophobic love the homosexual threads... It makes no sense... at 20 21 even 13 you should know what the words "out" and "proud" mean.. it's not rocket science people... and then for some reason feel the need to try and bash us ... its almost as if ... well there homo their self..... this is my bubble that is yours ... if you dont like it shut up... if your ok with it well... well... thats just fine...but please just because your insecure dosent mean you must reflect it on the people who are secure....

I'm a bit scared of the future.

One day all the homophobes and religious wing-nuts will suddenly decide that gay people aren't all that bad, which is good.

Although I'm frightened about what they are going to choose to hate on next? Tall people? Dwarfs? Maybe they will turn on another religion?

The issue of beating out homophobia right now is very important to me, but I wish that we could eradicate all the irrational ignorance and hate that all these people have.

I never liked tall people all high and mighty.

I'm rather inclined to place this post under the notion of "mocking the choice thing" due to the war statement at the end but I would like to mention that gay people do not chose to be gay, they become aware. Chosing and becoming aware are interlinked in the sense that once you decided/feel that you are gay and this idea feels right, you have a choice set in stone e.g. you are not going back on it.

People insecure about their sexuality are generally not sure of their orientation and any choice made will generally result in disappointment (try to find WessleWoggle's story on him and his niece...)

@ axumblade : just read your family story and it sucks! I've never said it to my mother because my brother came out first and I didn't feel the need to say the words too. However when my brother told her she apparently said she expected me to be the first to tell. She has always known (although part of that is due to the fact that my sister once found a 'magazine' and showed it to my mother). She never mentioned anything to me though.. she was afraid it would be embarassing.
It is my experience that people don't dare asking it. Up until know only 2 people have asked it to me and I told them the truth because if you don't wanna know, you shouldn't ask. Just as you shouldn't read this thread if you've got issues with it.

..........sooo its his decision or he was born like that....cant go back and change your self.....and......people have a right to do what ever they want (IMO AS LONG AS IT OBEYS THE LAWS) love...there is no law in who you can and cant love!
