^^^ Those girls exist (I'm living proof) but I guess there aren't too many like that. n_n'

thats what they say at first =p, but i hope i can find one here.

You will find a girl. You are young and a lot of young people might think that way even males.

But when they mature (some do before others) they will look for someone to love for who they are and not for the money. But then some never do mature to become like that. for a lot of people the most important thing is sex and money. There is a lot more to life than that.

But even if you find her you might not be her type and I am sure a lot of girls you have met that might be the way you want a girl to be but you just don’t feel attracted to her that way even if she is hot.

I'm out to everyone I know (work & personal). Have had nearly all positive recations. A member of my family had an initial problem but a quick bitch slap sorted them out. I do consider myself lucky (from what I've read) that my work colleagues, friends and family all accept me. There are some really sad stories about people being rejected for simply who they are.

I guess at the moment that gay folk (particularly in the US) are riding a wave of support. Several US states has legalised same-sex marriages in the past month with New Hampshire to follow (next week even?) and possibly NY depending on the senate vote. I guess at some point there will be a backlash but for the moment at least the momentum is positive for gay people.

My boyfriend helps me through uni! He might be going to uni next year though, so we would both be poor :(

@ MrStickBall
I forgot that on the Internet you can't satirize anything without putting /sarcasm down the bottom :P

In Australia equal legal rights is being introduced to gay couples on july 1st. here defactos have the same legal rights as married couples (i think), and gay couples living together for a certain period of time will be considered defacto.

OMG Plants vs Zombies is fun!

Gay threads are rising in popularity lately.

I noticed that. My average post count seems to be jumping up lately... almost to the point where I'm neglecting my moderator duties at another forum. (But not quite... I just watch those forums and don't go in any of the others.) Then again, having other places one can go to talk about things is always nice! ^_^

A thread to celebrate coming out of the closet. So was everyone born gay or was it a lifestyle choice?

Someone didn't read the OP... that's not quite what this thread is about... :P

But that's not what I'm intending to reply to; I want to address the latter half of your line. And that is, there is no real answer to it. It's basically a "nature vs. nurture" question, and there's too much compelling evidence against either one being the actual answer. If it were 'nature', we should be able to isolate the gene that causes 'gayness.' Yet we can't find one, because there is no gene for it. Conversely, if it were 'nurture', then why is it that we have gay couples raising heterosexual children? It's really not something that can be answered.

However, if you just want individual answers, I might lean a bit more toward the lifestyle choice, as you put it. As a child, I never really was one to play army; house was more my style. Violence was never my thing, organizing was more fun. Then there's the fact that as a guy, I understand guys better. It's not to say that I can't empathize with a woman, but I don't really know what she's going through. The scare of a girl unprepared for her first period... I... really don't know. And those monthly mood swings... I rather not deal with those...
