Forums - Microsoft - Seattle PI - Ex Xbox Testers tell all from secret 360 killswitch to MGS4

http://blog.seattlepi.com/digitaljoystick/archives/168594.asp?from=blog_last3

This is crazy rumor / tell all from ex-Microsoft tester that were recently laid off.

Though some are pretty crazy, the bits about poor testing and certification make a lot of sense with recent batch of DLC that fail and games that fail netcode (Gears 2, Race Pro etc).

Interesting read anyway and these were the guy that leak Bungie ship jumping and other various Microsoft dirty launcry.

Well that settles that then, 8bitjoystick has always been a great credible source, if he says MGS4 is coming, its coming.

LOL. Those things are absurd.

I can feel MGS4 comming to the 360, but what is the point now really...

Playing and finishing games first>>>>>>>>>>Then talking!

Opinions are subjective and just like moods, can change.

Killswitch? That´s bring some memories, are you remember Deus Ex?

But killphrase was better, one word and Anna Navvare goes "BOOOOM".

But still, for X30 case, it´s a little absurd...

if they can brick your console, then what's not to say that this can be done as well?

If it does come, then the fucked up thing will be that it will have achivements, but the PS3 version still won't have trophies.

Thats a joke....

There is no way they would force the system to overload purposely and blow a fuse!! That is highly dangerous surely.

yeah, I doubt it would be a physical switch or fuse, more like a firmware trigger on the units BIOS or somesuch

and:

"5th. Interesting Thing:
Harmonix is having Microsoft's Xbox Test Labs run acceptance tests on the new Rock Band controller hardware. The Beetles: Rockband is coming along and is playable."

that don't help their credibility much.
