Im starting to feel really uncomfortable with Biochemistry . Maybe i should wait and not take it this summer

I'm very confident in my technical writing to inform people, but once a class asks me to start using alterations and similes in a more poetic manner I really just can't seem to do it correctly to make the teacher happy (which is all I'm really going for when I don't have a personal interest in the subject).

I write all my reviews kinda like I write papers for my research, just try and explain things without getting too caught up in technical jargon. No need for flowery language. I do admit though, I always make spelling errors and grammar mix ups that have to be picked up by the copy editors. Usually around 2 or 3 a review.

oh wait, you're taking Biochem in general? It won't be like what I took then, I was talking about a specific Biochem class on metabolism. If you're taking Biochem as a general course there will be some memorization of things like the Amino Acids as well as the Nucleic Acids, but you probably won't have to memorize a ton of reaction pathways. In the basic Biochem class I think the most memorization is just from the AA's and NA's.

...can all those college classes I didn't bother studying or doing any of the homework for count? All those were damn difficult but that's because I didn't try. :-p

Other than that, I had a bunch of hard math classes but I remember none of my Computer Science classes were bad as long as I tried.  And I'm not trying to make myself out to be a super star programmer or genius or anything like that because I'm not (actually, I'm a bad programmer) but classes generally weren't that tough as long as I actually managed to pay attention and actually try.

@torillian

"In 1711, a group of alchemists seeking eternal life gathered on a boat to summon the "demon" that held the secret. The demon agreed to give them what they wanted—an elixir of life, the method to create more, and the secret to ending their new-found existence. The following night, alchemists began disappearing, "eaten" by one of their own. Realizing the threat posed by being close together, they decided to scatter across the world."

Sounds pretty interesting. Im assuming the guy in the middle of that picture is the same guy in your avatar. Well, theres nothing welcoming in that photo

@blackstar

WTF! Why so many?!
