You played both? 

They're not really undermining their own importance or credibility, these types of reviews is and always will be opinions simply becaus people are playing and scoring the game. Though I do find it somewhat stupid as to why they separate the scores of each IGN. I'd rather they average it in a Famitsu-esque fashion. And trust me Famitsu's scores for one game sometimes ranges from 6 to 9. Different strokes for different folks, as they say.

Prototype look like garbage compared to this game, but TBH i'm interested in Prototype.

I have, and while I have only played the inFamous Demo I can only comment on how that game feels.  Which is a very fluid controlling game.  Prototype looks sluggish to control and less polished, but thats just a video. I will reserve my final comment when the demo for Prototype releases.

How can you know what has the better feel to it, without playing it yourself?

Or do you mean fun factor?

I remember there was a thread that asked you to categorized games you were hyped for, on the edge for, and just interested to get later. I wrote that inFamous was on the edge, but was a bit skeptical. I think that I'll wait for a few more reviews, but this review is obviously in the positive direction. I'm kinda interested in the story and characters now, and both of them I thought, were looking like the weakness of the game.

If there truly is an absolutely amazing climax, consequences (the screen shot with a destroyed city area makes me full of imaginations), etc. The voice is what scared me (it reminded me a lot of Assassin's Creed, which, IGN slammed and I'm glad for), but IGN is promising a good story.

I'll wait, but I'm pretty much wobling on the edge now, ready to jump on this game.
