Gamespot are very inconsistant in their rankings. They sometime give good grades to average games and average grades to great game (they gave Halo Wars 6/10)

I'm predicting either a 8.5 or a 9 from them.

I agree. Personally, I'd give 9+ to both Resistance games, LBP, and Uncharted. The first Resistance because of the campaign and co-op, the second Resistance because of the online co-op which is by far the best I have ever played, Uncharted because I enjoyed... pretty much the whole game, and LBP... Well, I've just had a ton of fun with that game. I can't really describe it.

Killzone 2 doesn't get that high of a rating because while I love the campaign, I suck so bad at the multiplayer. I was playing with bots on recruit, and that was really hard. ;_;      That, and the lack of co-op keep this from being a AAA game for me.

The first Motorstorm was good, but not 9+ good. The sequel is fantastic; my only problem is that it's way too easy for me to crash, which is caused by the fact that I can't steer the bloody cars. I like my cars to be a bit more manuverable than the ones in PR.

I haven't played Folklore, VC, or MGS4, so I can't comment on those. The only game I plan on getting out of those is VC, which may have to wait until my birthday since I'm having some serious issues getting some spare cash. =(

OT: Great to see some good reviews for this game. I've been on edge about it but after reading all three of these reviews, I'm pretty sure I'll be getting this sometime soon. (AKA, when I get some money!)

InFamous is a must have game. Prototype will be reviewed very TOUGH by reviewers because they will be comparing it to the gem known as InFamous. I predict a 7.7-8.4 for Prototype on IGN

Eventhough I haved this game on pre-order (only for the uncharted 2 beta) and it's getting positive reviews all around...I'm still not excited for the game :( maybe when I eventually get my hands on the demo I might like it.

It looks like a Fable clone. Good or Evil, each power has 3 levels, all the spells are identical. It looks like they threw in some Assassin's Creed stuff too though, but otherwise, identical. Seriously, play the 2 games side by side and it's uncanny.

Game is really short, coming in at just under 9 hours, and that's being generous(same length as Fable II).

However, it looks like it might have surpassed Fable II in production values and fun factor.

I'd say 9.2 is close. I'd go with 9.0, AAA exclusive. Great game, this one. Ripoff of Fable, to be sure, but it actually surpasses the material it's ripping off. Fable 2 8.5.

It is a gem. I agree. That IGN reviewer sounds like a fanboy though, lol. Listen to the video review. I think he might just be in love with the game, but he coulda maybe scripted the groinsucking out, to make it sound a little less fanboyish in that video review.

Anyway. 9.2. Great score, for a great game.
