Forums - PC - Anyone still play WoW?

Never touched the stuff, never will.

My roommate in school last year, who was one of my best friends before, literally played that game exclusively as his entertainment for the entire year. Didn't socialize more than three or four times all year, was incredibly rude when it was suggested he get off for a while, always broke plans we had to gou out in order to play WoW, etc. He used to be a good student, too, but he skipped class and homework for two weeks when Lich King came out.

In short, never touching that game--it ruins lives.

In other words...You think you could fall too?

Wow that Zerg was awesome!

that funeral crashing video was pretty funny. I used to play Ultima Online (before they screwed it up) and Asheron's Call (darktide), but I'm never playing another mmorpg. They're just not for me anymore.

Demon's Souls Official Thread  | Currently playing: Left 4 Dead 2, LittleBigPlanet 2, Magicka

I quit and don't plan on going back. Such an addicting game!

I quit at Wotlk. Had a 70 Mage it was fun while it lasted.

I never said it couldn't be an entertaining game--if it weren't, it wouldn't have 11.5 million current subscribers.  There's a difference between harmless fun and ruining your life.

Those who try heroin say that it is just harmless fun, too.  And don't be laughing at the comparison--it is a valid one in this case.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

"Ok, girl's trapped in the elevator, and the power's off.  I swear, if a zombie comes around the next corner..."

I quit for about a year now ,too dangerous to play if you unablt to control yourself. But this game still not addict enough compare to FFXI online.(Which took about 6-12 hrs for each run when i play it many years ago.)

I quit back in 2007, and came back early this year to try out Wrath. My server was always pretty imbalanced, but it has just really gone downhill. One of the worst BC Alliance raiding guilds (only counting the somewhat serious ones) is now the top guild, and WG's are generally 200+ vs. ~75. Plus almost everyone I knew on the server has quit or transferred. So I will probably be doing one or the other.

Despite all this, WotLK was a great expansion outside of making raiding/heroics obscenely easy.

It's funny that people say "I quit" playing Wow.

shouldn't the thread title be "anyone still NOT playing WoW?"
