With recent big name titles PS3 has had the edge over 360... But if anything the game should be Multiplat. |
Ugh this is why you're a fanboy .. blatantly living in your own little world. Those "big" games sold more due to Japan. Assassins Creed 2 is going to sell better on 360 than PS3 by a country mile so those games are irrelevent.

Why did you post that then? And it doesn't matter that they sold more, it was due to Japan and this game won't do blockbuster numbers in Japan so again ... the fact these games beat out the 360 version is irrelevent to AC2.

I said it as a reason why Ubisoft could possibly make AC2 PS3 exclusive, as Ramiel said that 360 was the choice of money making console, although for the bigger multiplats what aint shooters... PS3 seems to hold its own against MS.
Lately, with PS3 selling more copies on the 2 biggest Multiplats of the year so far (RE5 + SF4) it could be a possibilty for it to be PS3 exclusive or timed exclusive.
Also, AC1 sold almost 100k in Japan on PS3 and ~70k on 360. There is no reason why AC2, on a bigger userbase for both HD consoles, cant do at least double that.

That's a very sad news indeed.
Do you have any links? Where have you read it?

Seriously LOl you're still arguing this point? look at AC sales in the west compared to Japan .. Ubisoft are not going to be thinking "ohh well it will do well on the PS3 in Japan so lets make it timed exclusive"
Again (you miss the point COMPLETELY) those games sold because of Japan ... and AC did minute numbers on both PS3 and 360 in Japan compared to its total numbers.

Raymond enrolled in McGill University’s computer science program and her first post-college job was as a programmer for Sony, where she eventually helped in the creation of Sony Online’s first Research and Development group. This led to Electronic Arts where she worked as a producer on The Sims Online and then to Ubisoft Montreal, where she was appointed as producer of the Assassin's Creed. Raymond later joined the G4 program "The Electric Playground" as a correspondent, working with Victor Lucas, Tommy Tallarico and Julie Stoffer. She volunteers for a non-profit organization called LOVE, dedicated to ending violence among youth in Canada (http://www.leaveoutviolence.com/source/english/ontario/index.htm). Raymond considers herself an avid gamer.[3]

Strange. She seemed like a very important person back when Assassins Creed was released. But thinking back, i was pretty naïve and should have noticed it was a publicity stunt. Put a pretty face over a product and it sells, just like any other product you see on tv,magazines , and billboards. It worked though! People are still GaGa over her.
