There's never such a thing as "too much gore" when done correctly. I find it perfectly acceptable to see splashing blood and organs when you cut someone in half.... I''d be a little more freaked out if it was just a black void...

Too bad the gameplay doesn't look half as good as this cg opening. And no, I don't mean graphically. But all the gameplay vids I've seen on Gametrailers really have been very unimpressive thus far for me.
