Forums - Gaming - do # of great games released in 09 on (THE BIG 3) reflect market position ?

Hmmm odd. Of the three console symbols (on top of the OP) the PS3 seems the largest. That's strange, it's not like this is a flamebait thread.

O.T.

quality= subjectif
quantity = objectif

That's all you can say.

These threads will never work annoying fans will never say any other system is better >_>

360/PS3 have great lineup and libraries but I like whats already on my Wii and whats coming up.

Majority of people that dont own Wii dont know whats coming out for it either.

Nope.

4 ≈ One

I think that's how it should be, but if we're going by what we know so far, it's the complete reverse. However, E3 is just around the corner, and considering we know absolutely nothing about Nintendo's Wii-games after Wii Sports Resort, it's too early to call, I think.

This. Nintendo could possibly unload a deluge on us at this E3, or be just as anemic as they were last year. We don't know, but that could reverse the situation quickly.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

There's no denying the quality of the PS3 games lineup, unless your a fanboy. The Wii isn't lacking good games either however. Just because Nintendo has yet to announce games, doesn't mean the Wii has nothing.

What we know about so far (and some already released games): Madworld, HOTD:Overkill, LKS, The Conduit, Muramasa, Arc Rise Fantasia, Phantom Brave, Klonoa, The Munchables, Boom Blox Bash Party, Dead Space Extraction, Overlord Dark Legend, Red Steel 2, Wii Sports Resort, Punch-Out, M&S Olympic Games, Deadly Creatures, Sonic and the Black Knight, Rune Factory Frontier, Valhalla Knights: Eldar Saga, Rabbids Go Home, No More Heroes 2, Sin and Punishment 2, Spore Hero, as well as the remakes (NPC! and Resident Evil), Sports Games, and multiplats.

As it stands right now, for 2009 PS3=Wii>360, but this will most certainly change after E3.

Well with the escalating costs of development, and reluctance to just develop for the Wii, we are not going to see a PS2 style dominance. As nearly all multiplatform games are coming to PS360, and Sony has the largest first party studios, the PS3 is going to have the most games, though not necessarily the best games (though I think they do).

As for great games, it is entirely subjective, but with more PS3 games, and my hatred of Mario, I think the PS3 is going to have the best games

OP is totally illogical.

Nonsense topic tbh.

Because, OBVIOUSLY, Mario is all the Wii has.

There isn't even a new Mario coming out this year.

When I say Mario, I mean games of that sort of style, with the exception of Ratchet and Clank. I also don't like the Wii mote style of play, and have no interested in getting out of my comfy chair and waggling that remote around. I have also played Wii Sports and found it incredibly boring... but there is no real need to get into all the details of why I dislike the Wii

Flame bait

Flame bait

it really isn't. it's a valid question for a phenomenon that hasn't been seen before this gen. It's a rather interesting topic. It's a shame not many people are interested in it

Had this been asked by anyone but Skeeuk, would you still call it flamebait?
