As a gamer, I'd rather them announce something new. As a fanboy, nothing, NOTHING would be sweeter. There are many here who would pretty much have to quit this site, if it happened. Old post dragged up, ect. Also, many 360 only owners would be overjoyed to have a new guarnteed AAA game to play. It would also prove that BR is largely unnecessary for gaming(which we already knew).

No, for a 360 fan, it's pretty much a megaton. For a PS3 fan, it should mean nothing. For a PS3 FANBOY, it means a lot of damage control, crying, excuses, and rearranging of the playbook.

For new console purchasers, it could definitely be a factor. The AAA exclusive list on the Playstation 3, WITHOUT MGS4, would be like knocking it back to the dark ages.

From a pure all console owner gamers perspective, a MGS4 port is completely meaningless. It's a console war announcement, period, and a huge one, make no mistake.

By virtue of the very fact that Perfect Dark isn't on the list alone means its not everything that theiy're gonna show. Add the new Rare game in there too, for good measure. We know that BOTH are coming.

Personally i couldn't care less as i own both consoles and completed it long ago.
However i would laugh my ass off if it does indeed go to the 360 because it will make all those people who said "MGS4 could not work on 360 because its not powerful enough, doesnt have Blu-Ray etc" etc look very stupid.

If it goes to 360 you should play it. It is a good game.
