Why are ALL your replies so long? puts most people off reading them! cut the chit chat and get to the point!

P.S, I found Killzone 2 to be pants hence why I returned it for a full refund, I found a can of paint to be more immersive than that excuse of a game, take away the snazzy graphics and your left with a poor mans COD 4 lol.....

can you be a bit more specific?

Get Halo 3. Online is still the best for a FPS. And is still the #1 most played game online

I mostly play RTS and Moba style games now adays as well as ALOT of benchmarking. I do play other games however such as the witcher 3 and Crysis 3, and recently Ashes of the Singularity. I love gaming on the cutting edge and refuse to accept any compromises. Proud member of the Glorious PC Gaming Master Race. Long Live SHIO!!!!

my friend who doesn't read so well was very disappointed when he played halo. he said that there was almost no cooking at all in it. "he's called master CHIEF, dude."

just a little levity.

They had a T-Shirt Hell or College Press t-shirt with him in a chef hat, with a grill mounted on the back of a warthog I saw once.  That shit was funny.

Another note: I don't really have reservations about KZ2; I'm eventually going to grab it and Uncharted when and if they ever get cheaper...  I only held off because I was burned out on shooters.  I was just chuckling about the "realism" argument in a thread about a dwarf in a flying tub fighting nazi aliens vs. an 8' jackrabbit in tank armor fighting gorillas and the predator on a space ring.

The only things that really took me out of KZ were the no helmets on the squad members that talked to you (reminded me of my pet peeve with mainstream war coverage, where the soldiers will be in full battle rattle, and there's a reporter with frosted tips and an unzipped flak vest talking about how they're "in the shit"...  "Bullets wizzing past my head..."  Yeah?  Then hunker down and put on a helmet, douche!!) and the guys soaking up so many rounds.  That warehouse part on the demo looked to me like I was playing a Call of Duty game, but I'm spraying lead at a dude apparently wearing bulletproof SWAT fatigues...  We could fly to another planet, but we couldn't bring guns with any penetration or stopping power?

Halo is a little more consistent in its fiction (the bad guys can absorb punishment cause they're wearing force fields and such), but you're not going to say "this gun firing explosive crystals in my hand has a very realistic feel to it..."

For gritty realism, I'd have to go with Gears of War, but, again...  the dialogue and some of the weird shit will really take you out of it at times.  The roady run definitely gave it a war film feel, though, among other things.

Believing in the PLAYSTATION®3......IS.......S_A_C_R_I_L_E_G_E

i think the biggest draw for killzone was the atmosphere and the feel. the firefights actually make me think outside the box for strategies, and killing the higs is so immensely gratifying.
