Forums - Sony - PS3 outsells Wii again May 8th

I think the PS3 will continue to outsell the Wii until Punch Out. And even that will probably only last a week or two. It's still "TBA 2009". Wii Sports Resort comes out in June, that should give a sizeable boost, and perhaps turn the momentum back in the Wii's favour. Then Monster Hunter 3, in "Summer 2009", for Wii. Of course, then FF13 hits the PS3. Then Dragon Quest X for the Wii.

And Gran Turismo 5 will hit at some point...this is tough to call. I think the PS3 will outsell the Wii (in Japan, obviously) up until WSR, personally.

Wii might outsell the ps3 for 2-3 weeks in the summer, but once gran turismo and FFXIII come in, the PS3 will DOMINATE

In Summer...where the Wii has MH3 and some RPGs? Yeah, don't think so. More like the majority of the summer.

I don't think GT5 will release this year (always have thought this, so...) but FF XIII is late Winter.

 

 Is this week number 8 of you saying this?

I'm glad PS3 is doing better in Japan right now, but high profile Wii games will probably turn it around again soon.

worldwide, Wii dominates by far

as for Japan, i wouldn't call it a Ps3 domination, a draw maybe

it will take over 10 years to reach the Wii at this rate... so i wouldn't be happy
