Unless it's bias indicated by your avatar and sig, you obviously missed the part where they mentioned they are going for complex AI, instead of rubber band AI.

Afaik Nitro won't release on PS3 (and 360), so it's funny to call it a "ps3 race game".

i'm like Nitro more than Shift - though Shift has icredible graphics(way better than GT5 Prologue) it's not real NFS game.
Nitro reminds me about Hot Pursuit and Burnout Dominator which is very good. i hope they will keep closed tracks and add there many alternative ways like in Dominator.
about controls - i think it's only one of options, i hope for wii wheel action:)
