Check this out from neogaf:

Also there is a rumour of a PS3-saving megaton coming tomorrow.
A third party game with development funded totally by SCE.
If the rumour is legit, he also mentions WKS will come out on Jan 31 for 8990 yen.

It's concerning a rumor listed in the latest Famitsu.

The obvious 3rd party choice would be SE, and this could add credibility to the other rumors posted earlier. Could it be the long rumored FFVII remake, funded wholly by SCE, exclusive to PS3?

Dunno what it would be... their best bet to bring the system out of the sales dumps was GTAIV exclusivity, which left a long time ago. The next best thing is an early release of GT4. Nothing 3rd party other than GTA is big enough to turn around an entire sales trend.
