Great work! I also think their reviews are well written, and I certainly enjoy the magazine, and I feel no bias

Their reviews seem fair and reasonable to me and appear to be in line with the average review scores of games.

 THIS^

I would rather have fair reviews than 10s on every PS3 exclusive. I leave that to OXM ;)

Besides i don't care about scores, i prefer hearing or reading about game

There's an opium bias in the UK? ;)

Thank you, I've been having the same frustrations with some people here. Good job.

Thanks. I just felt that while I fully accept that OPM UK is an 'official' mag, that doesn't mean they have to be biased, and many seemed to think it does; hence, the above list to show that it categorically isn't if you look at numbers alone. Besides, any claims of bias are quickly destroyed if you actually read the mag, where they are often highly critical of Sony and the PS3. Take the recent 24-hour PSN gaming article, for example -- it was scathing of many, many PSN features, and basically said that a bunch of 360 features needed added, and now, to make online gaming a more seamless experience. Something I agree with.

As I said, I happen to agree with much of what they write, even though the magazine is clearly focussed on promoting the PS3. After all, you can promote a product by pointing out what would make it better, and what the exclusive games require to be worthy of the platform.

Ta very much. I aim to please. Better use of my time than groaning in my sick-bed, I suppose.

Only 8 for Valkyria Chronicles - must ignore all further scores from this magazine :D

Heh! As I said, they tend to be harsher than others, even when it's a game that's pretty important to the platform (an exclusive JRPG -- albeit an SRPG). That said, did you see what they gave Disgaea 3? 9/10 is a high score for it, especially given the crappy graphics. It's not all bad, I suppose. I happen to feel 8/10 was mean for Valkyria Chronicles (a game I'm loving; halfway through), but I've not played Disgaea 3, so I can't really comment on that. Anyone feel 9/10 is too generous?

MLB 09: The Show isn't in uk is it?

Well, given the PS3 is multi-region for its games, OPM UK reviews imports as well, as it knows much of its readership may, or does, do this. They have also reviewed the Yakuza games and the like (and, again, been pretty harsh; that said, I'm not sure how good their Japanese is).

so every good ps3 exclusive games should not be lower than 9.5. I see.

That's exactly what I felt, which was why I made the thread. Sure, it won't convince everyone -- some people don't want to be convinced -- but I feel it was worth doing; especially as others, like you, seem to agree.
