New Playstation 3 RPG announced

The latest Famitsu issue features a new Playstation 3 role-playing game. Titled “Trinity Universe,” the game will be published by Nippon Ichi Software and is being developed by Idea Factory.

Nippon Ichi Software is also planning to announce a Playstation 3 game tomorrow developed by Hit Maker. With a new Yakuza game also on the way, Playstation 3 fans should be pleased with the latest support from Japanese developers.

Yes, it's another crossover RPG!

Wow! cool! I am going to buy Cross edge and definetely going this one to. I am hoping this game will be release sooner.

Wrong, there was one statement of _one_ japanese SEGA pr guy who was questioned when yakuza 3 would come to the west at a japanese Y3 PR event. His answer was "I _have no information_ on any plans to bring it to the west".

That hardly is a confirmation of it not comming. The guy was there to promote the japanese version.

They didn't confirm anything other than the Japanese PR guy saying they don't have plans at the moment.

only shows cover, the jpn says "Ryuu ga gotoku saishin saku Kaihatshu shidou"

Here is what SEGA should do: release the first two games on PSN, see how they do and then bring on the third.

Personally, I think learning Japanese is a better idea for everyone.

Here's new info from GAF:

Ryu Ga Gotoku Sequel (PS3)
-Not RGG4 but not RGG Kenzan 2 either
-Nagoshi believes that fans will be accepting of the title regardless of if Kiriu goes to space or fights zombies
-Thinking of making it more 3-dimensional than prior titles
-Title still evolving
-Thinks fans wouldn't wait 2 years for RGG sequels
-No voice acting done yet (pre-audition stage) but appears that auditions will be open to the public, atleast for the females....all that's required to audition is a love for the RGG IP.
