I like him. He is a good videogame character. The games brings back good memories (even the new ones). :D

Sonic 1-3, especially 2, are the best Sonics and I do love them

haven't had much fun with sonic lately, I did enjoy the Sonic RPG on the DS, but I could have missed it and not have been too sad.



Currently dreaming of: DKC4 or Sonic the Hedgehog 4 (classic 2D platformers) for WiiWare, Smash Bros. for DSi, New Super Mario World for DSi, a Wii remake or true sequel of Final Fantasy Tactics.

One down, hopefully more awesomeness to come.

I like Sonic alot. The blue blur has been a major part of my gaming experience. It's just his latest outtings are.. questionably entertaining. I think Sonic should take one of two paths personally.

1.) Stick to Handhelds and Downloadable games. Keeping the core 2D gameplay that fans love.

2.) Reinvent its 3D gameplay and storytelling into something that's playable at least 80% of the time.

just expand on sonic unleashed, tweak the "hedgehog" engine, expand the daytime levels 5x times, kill the werehog or make it faster with more challenge. Sonic unleashed 2(?) can be an awesome game.. if only sega gave it the push it deserves..



Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is absurd.

5 THINGS I'd like to see before i knock out:

a. a AAA 3D sonic title

b. a nintendo developed game that has a "M rating"

c. redesgined PS controller

d. SEGA back in the console business

e. M$ out of the OS business

Sonic 1 - Sonic & Knuckles are gems. Everything about those games is pure fun all of the time. Sonic Adventure was the first Sonic game that had boring sections in it. Before that, I never had a concept of a Sonic game being boring at any time. When I came across the exploration stages and that hub town in Sonic Adventure, it was a total turn off and a game ruiner for me. I stopped playing it because it was destroying everything that I knew Sonic to be.

 I honestly found Sonic Unleashed's daytime levels to be repetitive and uncontrollable.

I agree needs balance between speed, platforming, and enemies
