this is a pretty interesting idea you present. i'd look into it if this happened. why not.

It wouldn't suit a wall mounted slim tv. It'd make it fatter, hotter, it'd need a fan. You'd have to reach up to your tv to slot the Blu-Rays in. How would you charge your controllers without long cables trailing from your tv? Swapping out your HDD would be even more hell than it is now.

It'd cost sony alot of money to design a feasible TV/PS3 hybrid, when it'd be much saner following the current plan.

lolll oh the trouble getting it sent if to get it fixed XD. I could see a built-in Blu-ray but not a PS3.

I think you could already get a PS3 free with an HDTV from Best buy and circuit city(at least there was a promotion some time ago).

then buy a samsung....cuz samsung makes their lcd...sony only designs the case for it....sony stopped making their own lcd a while back

not such a bad idea if the PS3 was in a detachable unit.
