Ok, I was trying to be polite by saying that FFXIII could almost be considered as big as WSR and WM+. But you don't seem to care about not being rude, so I take it back.

 

WSR will certainly be one of the best selling games ever, and it will be remembered throughout history as the game that pioneered 1:1 motion control. FFXIII will be thought of as 'that FF game that came between XII and XIV' '

 

As for the argument you seem to be trying to draw me into, as to which will be a better game. I cannot judge untill we get more details about WSR. If it has 10 games, each of which is as awesome as the sword fighting and jet skiing, then it will blow FFXIII out of the water. If it has online then it might even blow FFXIV out of the water

 

 

Couldn't have said it better. Wii Sports is superfun, FF has gone off the tangent a long time ago. And after XII, it's remaining redeeming qualities became irrelevant in my eyes. I cannot get into that game anymore, Wii Sports at least I can play fun with friends and it's really well made for that.

There's little to take back.
Everybody had a pretty terrible year last year admittedly. I didn't say MS or Sony's were any better :P.
I should give Motion Plus more credit, it was a good announcement. Everything else though? Not really. Bar Chinatown Wars which rocked the house.

I was pretty happy with nintendo's conference last year (granted, at the time i didn't have a wii nor planned on buying one)

Pokemon Ranger 2
Grand Theft Auto: CTW
Club Nintendo for America

A few more DS titles would have been welcome, but I was happy with what was announced (had I owned a wii at the time, I'd feel different).

OT: This year will be much better, especially with release dates for more NPC! games and Pikmin 3 and hopefully pokemon ranger 3 :)

Zelda Wii, RPG Pokemon Wii, and announcement that they have now much better and a lot more servers so that more games with more players online can play. Better online service. WiiSpeak with everyone and not friends. Some kind of an online service like Wii Video channel but better and not just ads but movies and TV shows.

*facekeyboard*. That is the most horrendous list ever. Who... WHO at Nintendo thought this was acceptable? 2 Games announced... one of which wasn't even made by them, and details on 3 others (and a couple other stuff)

Please, in the name of all that is good and true, don't let this E3 be a repeat of the lasts. I'm not expecting a Mario or Zelda... just something better than the last freaking time...

FFXIII was bigger than 3x the whole Nintendo showing.

OK, so now we are trying to say it sucked becuase FFXIII is SUCH a big game. Please. Nintendo did unveil more titles then Microsoft. Trying to argue that it's void becuase FFXIII is bigger (bigger to who?) is pulling at strings.

So, I'll post my predictions: I do not have high hopes, at least not as high as last year. But I do think tat Nintendo is gonna have a great show. First of all, I'm waiting for a big Sin & Punishment 2 blowout: if they really count on it, the E3 is the right place to begin with. I'd like to know if they're planning to show off Dinasty Warriors 3 tomorrow (I'd like to know if there's gonna be a conference, to be fair, cause I haven't understood that yet), along with other Japanese games like Monster Hunter 3 and Tales of Graces, because I do think that Nintendo will present these titles at the E3. The Wii version of Modern Warfare 2 will be there, along with Red Steel 2, and probably some new games from EA (Dead Space and Brutal Legend?). On the first/second parties side, Pikmin 3 will be shown, along with Wii Fit Plus. By EAD 4 and EAD 2. EAD 3 is working of Spirit Tracks so no Zelda Wii this year. EAD 1 is probably almost done with its game but it will be announced at the Spaceworld I think, since they release Mario Kart only one year ago. EAD Tokyo is definitely working on Mario, but that's a 2010 title. Retro new IP may be ready, dunno, but I don't think it is. Intelligent will announce a new Fire Emblem, probably for Wii, while Monolith and SPD will not show up. And NST neither will.
Factor 5 will be announcing Pilotwings and maybe Kid Icarus, but I'm not sure on the latter.
