Someone _will_ have compiled Pidgin and Firefox for a MIPS-based Linux.

And, yes, Pidgin does MSN. It also does every other type of IM too.



If you have a usb cd drive you could try this:

I just installed it instead of windows on my Asus EEE and it looks & runs great.

This. Considering your specs you may not be able to use full Ubuntu.

 



Have you guys seen the minimum requirements? My netbook will choke to death with that thing lol.

 I just re-read the OP and he has 128mb RAM and 1GB SSD, so it may not be good enough to take it.

€70 seems cheap enough, but if you cant do anything productive with it, it's money wasted really.

That's weird, it looks and sounds the exact same as the one i got but mine is a Tortola iPC400.

Really cheap PC products are often licensed and sold under many different names. So the hardware is likely the same and made in the same place.
