PSN should establish a donation kinda like Paypal Donations. I'm sure people who have a little money left over in their PSN wallet wouldn't mind donating money every once in a while and it would be completly optional to the user. As long as the money goes toward servers and the development of PSN people would be greatly appreciative in this, which may also lead to more donations. |
they set Qore for that... by doing so u get exclusive demos and inteviews.

I'm not too interested in Qore myself and exclusive demos really don't catch my attention. I rather just throw them a couple of bucks here and there. Mostly the money left over in my wallet that is basically useless.

Well, Sony already has the money you added to your wallet in their hands/pockets and can use it, even if you didn't buy anything with it. Ofcourse they have to make sure they could refund you, but the refund pot is considerably smaller than the total added but unused money.

Makes sense. But not just that money from the wallet. Maybe someone would just like to outright donate X amount of money.
I'm not saying it should be something to worry about but it wouldn't neccasarly hurt them to do it either.

I know when I used to have the 360 and XBL, I would play as much as I could (till my hearts content) because I knew that I only had a limited time with it. Now on the PS3, I don't find myself playing as oftenly, only going crazy (like I did in the 360 days) when I'm about to have my internet capped. If they don't charge a monthly fee, I don't think people will come back to it unless it is truly amazing (which it could be) and if people continually drop out of playing the game, there's less incentive to start playing or continue playing (like what happened wth CoD W@W after about 6 months, A LOT of people went back to CoD4). I dunno, the deal breaker here is whether or not it's a good game (I'm sure if Warhawk was launched without any bugs but with a monthly subscription cost, people would still play it). Of course with Warhawk being free, it'll be tough to charge for MAG (so I guess it's obvious then that it was going to be free?). |
do you really believe what u are saying ?
it appears to be a random to me ...
monthly fee = dead (outside WoW)
