Wasn't there already a thread for this? Maybe I read it elsewhere online lol.
Anyway it is great news and helps keep PSN truly free online. :D

FootballFan - "GT has never been bigger than Halo. Now do a comparison between the two attach ratios and watch GT get stomped by Halo. Reach will sell 5 million more than GT5. Quote me on it."
That's awesome. It's nice to know Sony is rather dedicated to the free online thing, even if they have to offer some optional items to "enrich" experiences, like furniture in HOME. If it keeps the actual games free, me = all for it.

PSN Free.... wasn't hard to guess.
sony it's commited to their free online thing, they put it as gamer's right.
A decent interview.. answered a lot of questions. Glad its free to play online. ill be keeping my eye on it.
wow this video just increased my hype for this game ALOT. I cannot wait to get my hands on the beta, I really hope its an open public beta and not limited.
@Jo21
i know , alot rumors of MAG being a monthly fee game, so thats why i made this thread.

PSN should establish a donation kinda like Paypal Donations. I'm sure people who have a little money left over in their PSN wallet wouldn't mind donating money every once in a while and it would be completly optional to the user.
As long as the money goes toward servers and the development of PSN people would be greatly appreciative in this, which may also lead to more donations.

This may actually come back to bite them on the bum.
I know when I used to have the 360 and XBL, I would play as much as I could (till my hearts content) because I knew that I only had a limited time with it.
Now on the PS3, I don't find myself playing as oftenly, only going crazy (like I did in the 360 days) when I'm about to have my internet capped.
If they don't charge a monthly fee, I don't think people will come back to it unless it is truly amazing (which it could be) and if people continually drop out of playing the game, there's less incentive to start playing or continue playing (like what happened wth CoD W@W after about 6 months, A LOT of people went back to CoD4).
I dunno, the deal breaker here is whether or not it's a good game (I'm sure if Warhawk was launched without any bugs but with a monthly subscription cost, people would still play it). Of course with Warhawk being free, it'll be tough to charge for MAG (so I guess it's obvious then that it was going to be free?).
