 Havn't got the driveCleaner pupUp or anything else today, so I'm not doing anything...

Getting a trojan via ad content certainly seems more likely than from the server given the random nature of it. Some people report it while others don't. That "variability" would tend to point to content that is dynamically delivered -- i.e. ads that come up for some but not for others depending on what ad content is delivered at the time.



I hate trolls.

I havn't got the DriveCleaner after I installed the Addblock Plus, so yes it must be the adds..

Third time, i have the problem. since wednesday. I want to see the last american charts, and the famous page is appear to me. So, it's not finished.

 what browser are you using?  Have you tried ad block plus?  I'm trying to condone blocking ads because the ads pay for this great site... but, if those using adblock plus aren't getting the messages, it may very well be trojans from the ad server.

 firefox, ad block plus, i don't think i have. I have the base configuration, which normally block the popup window. Do you have see my photo previously. Is it really a popup window or not?

Because, one or two week ago, there were new window (window of vgchartz not disappear) which open and contain advert from casino. For me, it 's very different now, because, it's my window of vgchartz which close and a little window of drivecleaner appear to say me to download drivecleaner.

Must have been (at least one of) the adds. Beginning this week, I had strange things happening with the adds on vgchartz. Sometimes none came up, sometimes they did. From Wednesday on, vgchartz (and it only happend on vgchartz) started to get hijacked by de.diskdoctor.com or de.winantivirus.com _after_ I clicked on one of the discussion threads to read it. What a mess to get rid of that hijacker software!  After I added the USA filter file rules to the addblock plus (this hijacking happened with addblocker, but without a filter). Sofar, no more rerouting of the webpage has happend.  (Firefox 2.0.0.7 from Switzerland). I cross my fingers....
