Forums - General - Obama, a liar and a bully, all in one press conference.

The page is down, but I just looked up some of the stories. wow. That is a lot of gossip and slander with as little real news as possible. Reminds me of most British newspapers and glossys lol

You are being unpatriotic. Americans are not supposed to say bad things about their president when they are at war.

Former First Lady, Senator and now Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton screeched in 2003,

“I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and you disagree with this administration, somehow you’re not patriotic. And we should stand up and say we are Americans, and we have a right to debate and disagree with any administration!”

...I couldn't find a video...

Whether REP or DEM we all know that the economy is not right. Whether you blame it on Bush or on the DEMs in Congress it does not matter. Even if McCain would have won do you think that the country would magically heal?

I would like to see everyone who posted do better!

No. McCain would have done the same Bush did, which economically is better then what Obama is doing,  but still the wrong direction.

We need to stop spending so much money. Bush spent far more then he should, and Obama, in the first 100 days, made what Bush spent look like child's play.

McCain would have spent more money then he should, but not 3.5 trillion worth of it.

Not sure if McCain would have done the same as Bush.

Mc Cain had a lot of differences with Bush. McCain was closer to the center than most REPs and Certainly more than Bush.

It is kind of a stereo-type to say that just because both McCain and Bush are REPs they would do the samething.

Are you sure you aren't a DEM yourself? Cause that sounds like an idea from the Obama election adds.

And how do you know that spending all of this money won't eventually come to a happy end?

I mean he would have done the same thing fiscally. Spend spend spend.

I voted for McCain (would have voted for Ron Paul if he was running).

stopped reading right there.

Look, he even gave you CBS. They're more radical than Fox!

How about a quote from someone we should all respect. The man most responsible for the creation of The United States of America.

There is danger from all men. The only maxim of a free government ought to be to trust no man living with power to endanger the public liberty.
John Adams, 1772

FOX is way more REP than CBS.
FOX is the most REP friendly station there is.

Who does he consider to be the public?
Did he have slaves?

Would he trust Lincoln to "endanger the public liberty"?

Either way-

His words did not ring true for the public but only a fraction of the public. So the problem is who are you in league with?

And I also wonder at the man himself because some people who hated slavery also thought that Af. Am. were still inferior.

No matter what way you see it somebody's liberty get stepped on.

Sometimes a radical thing must happen for the good of the public. Sometimes a radical thing must be stopped for the good of the public.
