Well offourse it would.

Wii version was gimped and there was no COD:4 on Wii. So alot of people got a hd console for that game as it was awesome.

Cod:WaW had no love from the beginnign by activision when it come out. Poor stock poor advertising. After 2-3weeks is when that started to happen, by then it is too late.

Call of Duty is one of few exceptions to the rule that multi-platform games suck.  This gen there's quite a few HD only games that are alright, but most of the A grade games are still one platform.  For once, we're actually seeing more B grade multiplats.
