Forums - Sales - Did Anybody Else Notice Burnout Paradise Has Sold More On The PS3?

Out of curiosity why would you download this game as opposed to buying it in store if it was the same price? Your making yourself SOL for resale value if you were to ever decide to resell the game.

I knew this game sold slightly better on the PS3, and I'm assuming all the pro Playstation remarks from Criterion most likely helped rather then hurted the sales. Awesome game none the less.

It's just that simple.

Some games do better on Xbox 360, others do better on PS3. Hell, once in a rare while, games do better on the Wii.

I'll come up with something better eventually...

WOW what was the point of making this thread? i mean most other games sell bette ron 360 so....yeah

ot:burnout p is a good game

This game deserves waayyy higher sales on both consoles :/

Originally the game was cheaper online than it was at retail. When I bought it, it was the same price used as online. They are now even in price.

As for why you would buy it online even at the same price. Well, some people are lazy and don't want to drive to the store and never care about resale.

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

This game deserves sales of 2million+. Its a relly good game.

dont forget the 20 000 copies bought of it on the psn lols

Well after someone lost all their games in a house fire I can certainly understand the good things about digital distribution - less room needed, no driving and instant access (depending on internet speed). I never knew the game was cheaper because my friend who owns a PS3 (PS3 is the only current gen system I don't own, I'm not going to count DSI anytime soon *shrugs*) said it was the same exact price when it released in the US. Guess he was wrong.

Q.Who really cares about burnout? A. No one does

My names isn't no one.

And this, of course, doesn't count digitally downloaded copies so it has sold very well. Teh legs!

Uhh yea, you just made his point, most games sell better on 360, but this one didn't, which is why it was a bit strange to him.
