Without a doubt this isn't in game footage. It's more than likely going to be the opening video for the game. Mario Baseball and Mario Strikers Charged both have opening videos very much like this.

The only thing that can be gleaned from this is that Sega may be looking to the Mario sports games for inspiration.

 Be nice.  No one said they thought it was in game.  Rath asked if it was.   You can knock the image, or the thread, but you shouldn't attack the posters for beliefs they didn't have or post.

Well they do claim to have given characters various strengths, in most cases just one.  The one listed exception to that is Mario.  Unfortunately they gave Mario all the strengths that they have in the game, Sonic just got "fast".  

 Man, I do wish that Sonic would appear in Brawl.   Would be totally awesome.

I guess the same people asking "how the hell can any of you think thats [sic] in game" wouldn't question the following "CGI-rendered" image:

As in, "how the hell can any of you think that the PS3 will win this generation"...

That's a gorgeous little movie, too bad it's still not in game and doesn't tell me anything about the gameplay. I'm going to keep this on my I couldn't care less list until there's something that actually tells me the game might be fun.

 It's no secret that I'm not a fan of the PS3 at the moment but I can guarantee you that the trailer was not in game.  I really don't see why people are even arguing that it is in game.  

they have in game vids already out on some websites. IT looks extremely good. IGN had only positve things to say about this.
